Few days after Galaxy Note 7 launch, Samsung has announced the launch of its new Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro in India at Rs 32,490 and will be available in retail stores starting in 10 days from September 26.The Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro now leads the 2016 Galaxy A series lineup with a metal and glass design.
Galaxy A9 Pro comes with a dual-SIM and importantly with bigger 5000mAh battery and it directly competes with similar Chinese smartphone makers. As for size and weight it’s just 7.9mm thick, features a narrow bezel of 2.7mm and weighs around 210 grams. It also features a mega 6-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels Full HD display, protected by Corning’s Gorilla Glass 4. It has a powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 octa-core processor coupled with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of inbuilt storage. There is also expandable storage up to 256GB via microSd card.
As of camera, Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro comes with a 16MP rear camera with f/1.9 aperture, LED flash and optical image stabilisation. The front consists the very first 8MP camera from Samsung with f/1.9 aperture and wide-angle support. The front camera also adds support for HDR, palm selfie and face beautification.
Apart from that it also offers a fingerprint scanner, fast charging, Bluetooth 4.2, ANT+, USB 2.0, NFC and WiFi 802.11ac.
