How to Free Up Maximum Space on an iOS Device With Jailbreak and Icleaner

One of the most common issues among iOS users is the problem with storage space. If we have a device with 16 GB of space, and that space we subtract between 3 and 4 GB of space reserved for the system we have only 12 GB to use the device. If we add to this space save several songs, photos, some video and some decent game that occupy between 2 and 3 GB of space, soon we will see a message that will indicate that our storage is almost full. Although iOS has an auto-clean feature, and there are applications specially designed to clean iOS, they do not usually perform a thorough cleaning and remove, for example, application cache, temporary data and iOS logs, data Which, at times,

This simple application can be found free of charge in Cydia and has been designed to remove all data from the iOS cache and applications, allowing us to sometimes release up to several GB of data that, by default, other similar applications do not eliminate.

Next, let's see how this application works.

Free up space on your iOS device with iCleaner

As we said, this application can not be found in the App Store, so to download it we will have, in addition to Jailbreak our device, to add the BigBoss repository to our alternative store Cydia. To do this, go to the "Fonts" tab and add the repository:

Once this repository is added, we should simply scroll to find the "iCleaner" application among all available packages and install it on our device.

Once installed we will run a very simple interface similar to the following one.

In it we can see, at the top, the space that we have occupied in our device. This is very useful to know, as we say, our occupied space before and after running this application. We will also be able to see all the elements of the applications that let us delete this program, from the attachments of the messages to the cache of Safari, the applications, Cydia (which, although we do not think it, occupy a lot of cache with its packages) Log, cache and temporary iOS, application cache, etc.

At the bottom, in addition, we can see a section called " Excluded applications " that will allow us to mark if we do not want to delete the data of any particular application for some reason.

At the top, if we click on "Analyze", the system will show us a series of logs, or logs, with the information of all our applications. On the contrary, if we click on  "Clean" will begin the process of cleaning our iOS.

This process may take several minutes depending on a number of junk files we will have on the device. We wait for it to end and, when this happens, we will see a window where we will see a summary of the megas that have been released and a countdown to reset Spring, the iOS launcher.

Ready. Now we should have much more space available in the internal memory of your device. If we open the application will see that we have indeed saved nearly 1 GB of data space that was occupied and conventional applications were not able to detect and delete.

Finally, as we can see, at the top of the window we are listed as two units. The first, labeled "/", refers to the internal partition iOS, were inaccessible operating system, a limited partition, arrives and is installed. The second of them, "/var", is the storage partition, the space we can use and where iCleaner was mainly used.
