In India, 4G has stirred a revolution in the telecom industry. Major telecom operators are competing with each other to offer the best and most affordable 4G services to its customers. The price war intensified post the launch of Reliance Jio in September 2016. Following is list of operators providing Best 4g Plans in India in today's date.
The first company to introduce 4G in the country was Airtel. It launched 4G in 2012 through modems and dongles. The company was again the first one to bring 4G to smartphones in 2014.
Since then, 4G plans offered by varied telecom companies have seen a sea of change. Let us have a look at how the companies have updated their 4G offers in the past years:
In 2014, when Airtel first introduced mobile 4G data, it offered bundled plans with Apple iPhone 5S and 5C. It offered 4G data at the same price as 3G. As a higher value pack, it offered 10 GB 4G data at INR 1000.
In the second half of September 2016, Airtel announced free data offer of 90 days. The company offered unlimited data with a 30 GB fair usage cap at INR 1495.
Currently, Airtel offers 4G plans ranging from INR 44 to INR 995. At INR 44, it offers 150 MB of 4G data for 7 days. Vodafone too updated its plans in late September 2016. It slashed the prices dramatically and started offering 10 GB of 4G data at the rate of 1 GB. The company announced this offer for customers with new smartphones.
Along with this offer, Vodafone also reduced the prices of its other plans, post the launch of Reliance Jio. It changed the price of 2 GB data from INR 450 to INR 350 while the rate of 5 GB data was decreased from INR 850 to INR 650.
At present, Vodafone offers low rate plans starting from INR 18. Under this, the company offers unlimited 4G data for an hour. Its weekly 4G plan is priced at INR 42 and offers 170 MB of 4G data. Besides, at INR 103, the company provides 300 MB of 4G data for 28 days.

Following the Jio launch, Idea slashed its 4G data prices by 67 percent. The telecom operator offered 2 GB data at INR 349 and 10 GB data at INR 990.
Now, the company offers 1 GB of 4G data at INR 251 for 28 days. As a long-term plan, it gives 15 GB for a year at INR 1495. As part of a new plan, the company is also giving 1 GB of 4G data per day for 70 days at INR 297.

The rates of all the plans may differ depending upon the telecom circle. However, it is evident that the 4G plans of all telecom companies have undergone a number of modifications since the launch. Reliance Jio’s plans have impacted all other telecom operators, leaving them striving to replicate the new entrant’s plans.
